Breaking the glass ceiling

While gender equality and women’s empowerment are top priorities, we continue to see women not pursuing their passion or settling for second best. The majority still feels that engineering is an unfitting profession for women. We need to attract and retain students with a passion for engineering professions.

“Breaking the glass ceiling” is the topic for IEEE WIE’s upcoming event. The main purpose of this event is to encourage young women into engineering careers.
